These Terms & Conditions apply to all use of this website and all sales made through it.

By accessing this website and purchasing from Exhibit A, you agree to comply with these terms.

Exhibit A reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Products & Orders

All products are handmade and made to order. Production times vary depending on the item, with a maximum lead time of 3–4 weeks unless otherwise stated.

Product descriptions and images are provided as accurately as possible. Due to the handmade nature of our work, slight variations in color, grain, texture, or finish may occur.

Exhibit A reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of pricing errors, stock limitations, or suspected fraudulent activity.

3. Pricing & Payments

All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.

Payment must be made in full (or deposit agreed upon) before production begins. Accepted payment methods are specified at checkout.

Customers are responsible for any additional bank charges or exchange rate differences incurred for international payments.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout.

Exhibit A is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, or circumstances beyond our control.

5. Returns, Refunds & Consumer Rights

Cooling-Off Period (ECTA Compliance)
For non-custom products purchased online, customers have the right to cancel the purchase within 7 days of receipt and return the item for a refund, excluding shipping costs.

Defective Products (CPA Compliance)
If a product is found to be defective, customers are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund within 6 months of purchase, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

Custom & Made-to-Order Items
Due to the bespoke nature of custom and made-to-order products, returns are not accepted unless the item is defective.

6. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All designs, products, images, and content displayed on this website are the exclusive property of Exhibit A, unless otherwise stated.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Exhibit A.

Ownership of a purchased product does not confer any rights to the underlying design or intellectual property unless explicitly agreed to in writing.

7. Limitation of Liability

Exhibit A shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or its products.

We are not responsible for damage resulting from misuse, improper handling, or failure to follow care instructions.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.

Any disputes will first be addressed through direct communication. If unresolved, complaints may be escalated to the Consumer Goods & Services Ombud or another applicable dispute resolution body.
